On Saturday 11 June, Porsche Centre Edinburgh was delighted to welcome over 80 guests to our Experience Porsche event.
Experience Porsche is an informal open day that gives our guests the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a Porsche, many for the first time. In particular, we were thrilled to offer demonstration drives in the new 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman, two models which continue the spirit of the Porsche 718 era yet boast a more powerful and efficient four-cylinder ‘boxer’ engine.
Guests were also able to view the entire Porsche model range, take a tour of our showroom and enjoy the variety of refreshments that were served throughout the day. We were particularly impressed with our young Porsche fans who designed the next Porsche on our Experience Porsche graffiti wall.
Marcus Robertson, General Sales Manager of Porsche Centre Edinburgh said ‘Once again this year’s event proved a success with nearly 60 test drives taken on the day mainly from clients who had never experienced Porsche before. The feedback was extremely positive and welcoming.'
You can visit our Facebook page to see photos from the day.
If you were unable to join us, we would be delighted to offer you the chance to take a demonstration drive in the Porsche of your choice. Please email or call us on 0131 475 5000 to discuss your requirements.

*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
